Expression Engine allows you to manage your website content without any specialized technical web development knowledge. Working with Expression Engine should feel similar to working with a word processor.

You must be on the campus network in order to log into your expression engine site. You’ll need to access the campus VPN (virtual private network) if you need to access the site admin from off campus. IT Services provides instructions about setting up a VPN.

Go to https:///admin/

Enter your username and password. Your username is usually your CNetID, and the password should be provided by the person who set up your account. Follow the instructions on the login page if you can’t remember your password. Web Services will be happy to assist with setting up a new password.

If you’re logging in for the first time with the default password provided for you, reset your password to something unique.

Click Submit

Log into Expression Engine

Click on the link labeled ‘Members’ at the top of the page

Select your username from the list of site members

Click on ‘Username and Password’ from the ‘Personal Settings’ list

Enter and verify a new password, using your current password to confirm the change. IT services provides some suggestions for choosing a secure password.
